University of Missouri (UM) Libraries Depository

The first module of the University of Missouri Libraries Depository (UMLD) was established in 1997 as a facility for the storage of important, but infrequently used, research library materials.  The second module of UMLD (U2) began operations in March 2007. The collections contains materials from the following libraries:

• University of Missouri-Columbia
• University of Missouri-Kansas City
• University of Missouri-Rolla
• University of Missouri-St. Louis

The UMLD is managed through the University of Missouri-Columbia by the Director of Libraries through the Access Services Division Head and staff on site.

Due to the busy schedule at UMLD, tours of the facility must be approved, and are by appointment only. For more information about UMLD please contact June DeWeese, Head of Access Services, Ellis Library, or James Keyzer-Andre, UMLD Manager.
