The Special Collections Division of MU holds many volumes of primary resources and other valuable research materials. Included are the Rare Book Collection, the microform collection, and a variety of other print collections. These print collections include philosophical works, historical textbooks, and a comic art collection.
Special Collections has traditionally been divided into two primary areas: the book and print materials and microforms. Increasingly, a third area is evolving—that of electronic collections of digitized material that may be accessed around the world through the Internet.
Special Collection is currently staffed by three full-time librarians and several part-time student staff members. The hours of Special Collections are 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday.
