Entrance Images:

• The Chaldean statue was taken from Catalogue des antiquités chaldéennes, sculpture et gravure à la pointe.
• The note concerning the purchase of the Flach collection was placed in all of the books. It is exhibited here with a Flach bookplate.
• The picture of God amongst the stars is from the book Babel und Bibel.
• Bookplate with people reading - This plate is not common in the Flach collection and is one of his original bookplates.
• This Map of France is from Enquête sur les conditions de l'habitation en France; les maisons-types.
• Red bookplate - This plate is common in the Flach collection but comes in other colors including brown and green.
• The Map of Ireland is from The Cromwellian Settlement of Ireland.

Jacques Flach Collection Exhibit:

This exhibit was curated by Erin Zellers, Graduate Library Assistant, with editorial and curatorial support by Katie Carr, Special Collections Reference Librarian, Alla Barabtarlo, Sr. Librarian, Special Collections, Karen Witt, Special Collections Reference Librarian, and Michael Holland, Head of Special Collections, Archives, and Rare Books. Digital scans were made by Erin Zellers. The website was constructed in October 2008 by Erin Zellers using Adobe Photoshop CS3, ConTEXT and Macromedia Dreamweaver CS3.
