"Elizabeth I: Ruler and Legend" is a national traveling exhibition organized by the Newberry Library's Center for Renaissance Studies, in collaboration with the American Library Association Public Programs Office. It is based on a major exhibition of the same name mounted by the Newberry Library in 2003 to commemorate the reign of Queen Elizabeth I on the four hundredth anniversary of her death.
The exhibition is scheduled to be displayed in 40 locations across the United States during the period 2003-2006.
Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public.

Location: The exhibits are located in the 1st floor colonnade of Ellis Library.
Ellis Library is located at the intersection of Ninth Street and Conley Avenue. It is southeast of Jesse Hall (the building with the dome) and southwest of Memorial Union (the Gothic-style building) on Hitt Street. It is on the south side of Lowry Mall (http://map.missouri.edu/lowry-mall.htm)
