 Find Genealogical Materials

  • MU Libraries does not specifically collect in the area of genealogy, but may have some titles of interest.  Check the MERLIN Catalog to see what is in the collection. 

  • There may be resources of interest at the University Archives if a family member attended or worked at the University of Missouri-Columbia. 

  • The State Historical Society of Missouri, located in the basement of Ellis Library, has an extensive collection of genealogical materials including Missouri newspapers.
