Databases for Articles

Databases are collections of magazine, newspaper and journal articles. Many of these databases will give you the full text of an article. Mizzou purchases the databases with the icon through subscriptions and access is restricted to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Missouri.

Academic Search Premier
	Academic Search Premier provides full-text for nearly 4,600 scholarly publications, including more than 3,500 peer-reviewed publications. In addition to the full-text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for all 8,300 journals in the collection. [more]
JSTOR
	JSTOR is a full-text database consisting of the Arts and Sciences I, II, III, IV, Complement, Ecology & Botany and General Science Collections which provide access to the back files of over 300 scholarly journals. Areas included are history, sociology, business, economics, ecology, literature, mathematics, music, political science, population studies, Asian studies, philanthropy and finance. [more]

Academic OneFile
	Academic OneFile is a multidisciplinary database indexing over 13,000 titles. Full-text is available for over 5,000 titles. Access provided by MOREnet. MP3 audio versions of journal articles can be downloaded from the "Tools" box. Articles can also be translated into Arabic, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish.
America History and Life
	America History and Life contains citations and abstracts of books, dissertations, and articles from approximately 2,000 journals published worldwide. Covers all aspects of U.S. and Canadian history, culture, and current affairs from prehistoric times to the present. [more]
EconLit
	EconLit provides coverage of the worldwide literature on economics. Subject coverage includes accounting, domestic monetary theory, health economics, labor, quantitative economic methods, urban and regional economics, and welfare programs. Coverage is 1969 to date. [more]
HAPI - Hispanic American Periodicals Index
	HAPI - Hispanic American Periodicals Index indexes articles from over 575 journals on all aspects of life in Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Hispanics in the United States. [more]
LLBA: Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts
	LLBA indexes over 1,500 journals and additional books, dissertations and other media covering all aspects of linguistics, speech, language and hearing pathology. [more]
Social Services Abstracts
	CSA Social Services Abstracts provides bibliographic coverage of current research focused on social work, human services, and related areas, including social welfare, social policy, and community development. [more]
