New Online Resources Now Available!!

E-books -- We are purchasing ebooks. To browse the collection, choose the ebrary link http://proxy.mul.missouri.edu:2048/login?url=http://site.ebrary.com/lib/umcolumbia from the journalism library webpage or from the database page to browse the e-book collection. You will need to download the “ebrary reader” to be able to read ebrary books.
Ebrary books are also integrated into the online catalog, but at this time searches cannot be limited to online books only.

The Journalism Library still subscribes to the print resource, and may be found in the journalism library reference collection, but we purchased a one-user subscription for the Reynolds Institute. It is not cataloged and is not available through the library webpage because we can’t publish the login and password. This would be available for use by faculty and students for research. If a student needs access, please send them to the library so that we can log them in. You, however can access it by going to the link above and logging in using the information provided.

NetAdvantage provides information on companies, industries, stocks, mutual funds and the economy. Sources include Industry Surveys, Stock Reports, Bond Reports and Corporation Records. The type of information includes, but is not limited to, financial statistics, commentary, and directory listings, e.g., security dealers. The Industry Surveys is an excellent resource to locate information on 53 industries. The Mutual Funds section provides a quote, name of fund manager, rate of return, and sector allocations.

Contains key business intelligence data on countries, companies, markets and consumers. Includes marketing data from 207 countries and market size data for over 350 consumer products in 52 countries over a six-year period. Also includes profiles for leading FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) companies along with financial, market share and brand information. Trial ends March 31, 2008.
