A short video on the Journalism Library: it's technology, collections or why you like the Journalism Library.

You could win $100 and have your video posted on the Journalism Library's web site.
Contest Rules
All contestants must be currently enrolled MU students.
- Contestants agree to allow their video(s) to be shown by the MU Libraries for promotional and educational purposes.
- Contestants may submit multiple entries.
- Videos must be less than 5 minutes long, including credits.
- Videos must be free of strong languge and explicit sexual content.
- Video must be the creation of contestants and not infringe on the copyright of a third party.
- If you plan to film in a library, please check in at the front dek with an overview of what you plan to do in the library. PLEASE respect the privacy of others in the library and don't film them without asking for permission first.
- Videos must be submitted as a video data file (.wmv, .mov or .avi format).
- Each video must be submitted on a CD-R, DVD-R, or flash drive along with a submission form, to the circulation desk at the journalism library.
- If you choose to put your submission on a flash drive, please put it in an envelope available at the front desk. Included your name and email on the envelope so it can easily be returned to you.
- The winner in each category will receive $100.
- Winners will be notified within one week of the due date.

The Journalism Library has the following items available for check-out: wireless headphones (for audio while watching TV); Kindle with subscriptions to The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, The Houston Chronicle, Financial Times, and MIT's Technology Review; iPod Touches; digital video and "still" cameras; digital voice recorder; and 20 MacBook laptops. There are also 2 color scanners; B/W printer and copier and a color printer that can print both 8 1/2" X 11" and 11" X 17" sized documents.
