Study Carrels: The locked study carrels (sometimes called "cages,") located in the west book stacks, may be rented by any student. Priority is given to PhD candidates and those who are all but dissertation. There are currently 10 carrels set aside for undergraduates/masters students. The fee is $50 per semester or $100 for the entire year (including the summer). Once a PhD candidate has passed their comprehensives, the fee is $30 for the entire year.
