Add a Document by Uploading a File from your Computer
Always link to articles under copyright rather than posting them to ERes or Blackboard. When linking to an article from a library resource, follow the steps for creating a durable link.
| Select Admin Login on the ERes home page. Enter your ERes username and password and click login. |

| Select “Course Reserves Page” on the Course Reserves Page List | ![]() |

Search for your course page (instructor search is the most efficient) Select your course Enter the password (if necessary) |

Window opens up on "Page Management" tab Select the "Documents and Copyright" link. |

| Add title, author and any additional citation information. | ![]() |

Save the document information before uploading the document to the system. |

In Step 2, below the Title, click on the “Attach Files” link. |

| Select "Transfer File(s) To Server" |

Browse your desktop to locate the file

Find the correct document title and click to highlight it. Click on Open to select the document.

Click on the Upload button, and wait for the “Success” message in green at the top of the page. Click on the Close button. |

The file is now attached to your document. You may now Close the page. |

** To make sure the document is visible to your students…
- Log out as an administrator and go in as a student by clicking on the eReserves home link on the top left hand corner of the screen
- Select Electronic Reserves & Reserves Pages
- Type in your last name after “Any Search Field | Contains", select your specific course, then click accept on the permissions page that is brought up.
- The next page should display your course page.
- Find the title you just added and open it to make sure it’s visible and ready for your students.
