Instructions for posting to ERes

Create a New Course Reserves Page in Eres

  1. Complete an Application Form for an ERes Account.

  2. Select Admin Login on the ERes home page.

  3. Enter your ERes username and password and click login.

  4. Select “Course Reserves Pages” on the Main Menu.

  5. Select “Add Course Reserve Page” on the Course Reserves Page List.

  6. Select the department that is offering the course from the drop down menu.

  7. Input the course number, not including the department abbreviation.

  8. Type in the complete name of the course as it appears in the schedule of courses.

  9. Choose the term and the year from the drop down menus.

  10. Required by the MU Libraries (listed as “optional” by ERes):
    • Create a password for the course page if the document you post falls under copyright protection. Be sure to give it to your students so they can access the page.
    • Enter the number of students
    • Enter the visibility range (the first and last days you want the course to be on display)

  11. Optional features:
    • Description
    • Announcement
    • Section number (if applicable)
    • Assistants
    • Courseware link

  12. Order your documents alphabetically or in an order of your choosing.

  13. “Save” or “Cancel Changes”. If you select “Save”, the new course will appear on your Course Reserves Page List
