Policies for Adding a Document to a Course Reserves Page
Policies approved by the MU Library Council in January 2003 guide the use of ERes:
Linking Electronic Resources
All copyright-compliant articles that can be linked to databases, electronic journals or electronic books subscribed to by the MU Libraries or freely available websites must be linked by the faculty member for whose course the items will be used.
Any items that can be linked but are not linked may be taken off ERes by Library staff after consultation with the faculty member.
Faculty members may access directions on linking to articles in full-text databases and electronic journals.
Limits
There is a limit of 75 copyright eligible articles per semester that may be placed on each ERes course page. There is no limit to the number of linked articles or the number of items that are not subject to copyright royalties (i.e. lecture notes, exams, etc.) that may be placed on ERes.
Formats
The ERes reserve system accepts documents in any electronic format. Please note that ERes supports all file types, but students will only be able to open the file if they have the proper software or viewer on their workstation
