How to Link to an ERes Document from an External System
Your ERes system is currently configured to allow document linking from the following external systems:
mulibraries.missouri.edu
courses.missouri.edu
bbapp1.missouri.edu
getty.missouri.edu
bbapp2.missouri.edu
manders.missouri.edu
bbtest1.missouri.edu
blackboard.missouri.edu
cdis.missouri.edu
It is possible to link directly from a web page to a specific document available in ERes (e.g., item that was faxed to ERes, etc.). Please note that these links will not work within Blackboard at this time. They will work on web pages housed on University servers.
For the instructions, see below:
- Access ERes (http://eres.missouri.edu).
- Click on Admin Login in the upper right-hand corner and login with your ERes account.
- At the Main Menu, click on Course Reserves Pages.
- Click on the Course Name and Number in the results list for the Course page with which you want to work.
- Click Accept on the copyright notice page.
- Click the Documents tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the title of the document to which you want to link.
- Click the Current Associations tab.
- Copy the persistent URL for the Document, close the window and paste it into your document.
- Place the proxy prefix (http://proxy.mul.missouri.edu:2048/login?url=) at the beginning of the URL to insure that students off campus have access
