Find a journal article when you have a citation

  • Use Find Full Text of a Specific Article with (will open in another window)
  • Type in as much of the citation as you have.
  • If the article is not available online, then select the MERLIN Catalog link to see if the library holds the journal.
    • Be sure to copy the call number, then go back to the citation and copy or print it out.
    • At the least, you will need the volume, issue, and page number from the citation to find the journal article.
  • If a print copy is not available in the catalog, select request through Interlibrary Loan/Request a Copy
    • The journal information will copy over into the interlibrary loan request form after you https://ill.mul.missouri.edu/MUU/logon.html. (First time users must register, but the interlibrary loan service is free)
    • Copy or print the citation in case the information does not copy over into the request form. At the least, you will need the volume, issue, and page number from the citation to find the journal article.
