Circulation Status Codes

• AVAILABLE — in the library
• DUE — books is checked out until date given
• LIB USE ONLY
  • may be used in the library only, usually reserved for Reference Books and books in Special Collections
• IN PROCESS
  • place a RUSH request for the book at the Ellis Library Circulation Desk or any branch circulation desk
  • you may also send an email to request rush cataloging
• NEW BOOKS — for books on a new book shelf in Ellis or branch library
• NOT CHECKED OUT — for books at the Ellis Reserve Desk which are available
• ON HOLD — for books which have been recalled by a patron
• ON HOLD SHELF — for books which are being held for a patron at circulation
• UNDER CONSIDERATION
  • the book is in the approval room and will most likely be acquired by the library
