Locating Primary Sources Search MERLIN by exact title or author, if known. |
We have several large sets of reprints and transcriptions of early documents. Do a keyword search in MERLIN and include the name of one of these sets in your search. E.g., Early English Text Society and drama; Translations and Reprints and drama. |
Special Collections houses several microfilm sets of medieval manuscripts. You may need to use a printed guide to each set to locate specific works. |

Several resources provide access, not to the plays themselves, but to other primary records of dramatic activities. These are useful for discovering what was performed where, when, and by whom. |
