The Missouri Government Documents Forum is an open, unmoderated mailing list covering issues of interest to government documents librarians in Missouri. While intended primarily for the librarians and staff of institutions participating in the Federal Depository Library Program and the Missouri State Documents Program, the forum is open to anyone with an interest in government information. This YOUR forum. All topics and uses within the broad scope of this list are acceptable.

To subscribe to MODOC-L send a message to LISTSERV@PO.MISSOURI.EDU with SUBSCRIBE MODOC-L FIRSTNAME LASTNAME in the body of the message. To leave this forum send the message "UNSUBSCRIBE MODOC-L" to LISTSERV@PO.MISSOURI.EDU.

Sending messages to MODOC-L

MODOC-L@LISTS.MISSOURI.EDU is the Internet address of this discussion list. Mail sent to that address is distributed by the ListProcessor software to everyone who is subscribed to the list. To reply to a message posted to the list you have two options. If you want your response to go to all subscribers to MODOC-L, use the reply-function on your local mail system. If you want your response to go only to the person who posted the message, look in the header of the message to find the "FROM" field where you will see that person's email address, or check at the end of their message for their "signature". Then send your note directly to that person.
