Wireless Access and data ports are available throughout MU Libraries. You will need a WEP key, available at SAM. After you have the number, you can follow these instructions for configuring your laptop. Right now, it is best to configure your machine for TigerNet, as TigerNet1X is not available in all locations. To print, you will have to download a driver.
Laptops are available for three hour check out. Please ask at the Check Out/Check In desk.
Division of Information Technology and the MU Libraries have adopted printing procedures to reduce waste. For MU students, faculty and staff, PrintSmart tracks your print usage. Print quantity per user is tracked, not content. Please see the directions below to find out how this system works:

Non-MU patrons must set up a user account at the Check Out/Check In desk. A staff person will need to help you with printing. Printing for a fee is available on the two stand up terminals in the Journalism Library. Print jobs may be picked up and paid for ($0.10 per page) at the Check Out/Check In Desk.
For more information on the PrintSmart system see the DoIT PrintSmart information page.
If you encounter printing problems that the library staff cannot help you with, call the Division of Information Technology Help Desk at 882-5000.
