Some students who don’t have computers at home are attempting to do research for classes. Thus, your point is quite fallacious. Using library resources for banal social interaction during a time when students en masse have “legit” coursework to do is quite rude.
It would behoove you to think about what you are saying and check your grammar and punctuation before you say it, put it into an email, and make an unnecessary fool of yourself.

I just wanted to add becasue the first problem was legit but hte second was somewhat rude in my opinion. I know this person is upset about the people on Facebook and whatever but some students do not have computers at all and they come to the library to check those social sites. So you saying that they need to get off and go somewhere maybe they have nowhere else to use computers. You need to think about what you are saying before you say it and put it into an e-mail just saying.

…And usually those printing stations are unable to print my needed format. Textedit, gmail, googledocs, and many other common functions are rendered disabled by the limited platform on the printing station computers.
Yes anonymous writer #1, I have searched my options thoroughly, as anyone should who is writing a letter full of grievances.

The sign on the fourth floor says that hushed conversations are allowed. We are working on new signs that will more clearly designate the completely quiet areas from the semi-quiet areas.

If you are just needing to print something off quickly, there are two printing stations near the reference desk for just that purpose.

There is a sign on the fourth floor indicating it is quiet study. If that is not the case as stated here, this sign should be removed.
