Book Sale Stamp on Books
I enjoy browsing through the books you have on sale in the Copy Service room, but I wish you could figure out another way of marking them. Stamping “Book Sale” on the bottom, along with the colorful Magic Marker slash, mutilates the book unnecessarily and has to be upsetting to those bibliophiles that I imagine you are trying to attract. Thanks.

The MU Libraries Staff Association (MULSA) runs the book sale. We checked with MULSA and they have been thinking of at least dropping the “book sale” stamp. However, the colored marks are tied to the price of the book, which lowers each week the book remains. They don’t want to have to price each individual book, so that mark will probably have to stay. Thanks for the comment.
