On my way to lunch on break (12:25 pm), which doesn’t give a lot of time but is sufficient, I got stuck behind a MU Libraries van. The black male driving (white male passenger) continued to drive 15 mph below the speed limit, not a care in the world. Do these people have places to be? They are driving around representing the University of Missouri. On my way back from McDonald’s I saw the van pulled over on the side of the road on W Ash St (didn’t get an address) but I did get the plates: MZU 0746

Thank you for passing along your observation. We do expect our employees to drive safely and do their jobs efficiently. The vans make several stops on campus, so speeding would be ill-advised. We are sorry if their slow speed caused you delay.

There are different types of stops they make, including picking up gifts of books and other materials from donors, taking books to the storage facility, and dropping off packages, etc.
