Request Materials which the Libraries Own
- Request delivery of articles which the Libraries own through document retrieval over the web. There is a charge for this service.
- The Libraries will send their books to MU Distance Learning faculty, staff and students. Please see the MU Libraries Distance Learning Support Service page to see who qualifies for mail delivery and how to initiate the process.
- University of Missouri-Columbia faculty, staff and students not located in the mid-Missouri area may inquire (Ellis Interlibrary Loan Department, (573) 882-1101 or by email at ellisi@missouri.edu) to learn if they meet the qualifications to have books mailed to them.

- Persons not affiliated with MU may not request books be sent to them.
- If you are a student, faculty, or staff at another college or university, make your request at your school library.
- If you are not a student, ask your public library to request an interlibrary loan from MU's Ellis Library.
- MU students, faculty, or staff must come to the library to check out books.
