Friends of the MU Libraries
The Friends of the Libraries is an association of persons interested in the MU Libraries whose goals are to assist in bringing to the Libraries primary source materials, equipment or other major gifts; and thus to contribute toward gaining for the Libraries that strength in library holdings which is increasingly warranted by the growing significance of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Your contributions will help to purchase more books, scholarly journals, and computer terminals and help extend service hours to meet the increasing demands of our users. The Friends’ Adopt-A-Book program also raises funds to repair worn or brittle books. Friends’ private contributions fund facilities, programs and publications that enhance the University of Missouri-Columbia for everyone.
Membership in the Friends of the MU Libraries helps develop the main and branch libraries at the University including:
- Ellis Library
- Engineering Library and TechnologyCommons

- J. Otto Lottes Health Sciences Library
