The hand-colored folding map is one of the earliest depictions of the state of Texas, and the text is considered one of the best contemporary accounts of the beginnings of the Texas Revolution. It is an invaluable primary source.

The conservator will make new spine liners, remount the volume, and touch up edges and corners.
