This copy of the Southey text has a fore-edge painting representing a detachment of British troops attacking the enemy on the heights during the night. This is one of the most recognizable treasures of Special Collections and Rare Books, it is regularly used in class sections about book history and art.

Damaged spine liner, remove spine liner and attach new. Resew first and last sections of text block. Remount boards and provide new hinges. Kozo repair corners and edges.
