| This is the first edition of Dickens' first novel. The posthumous papers of the Pickwick Club was originally mailed to subscribers in monthly installments from March 1836 to October 1837. This volume is the first collected edition, featuring illustrations by H. K. Brown (also known as "Phiz"), who went on to collaborate with Dickens on many other projects. |
