| Louis Maimbourg lived during the 17th century and was a member of the Jesuit order having studied theology in Rome. After his study he worked at the Jesuit college in Rouen, France for several years. Later in life he began publishing historical works Triaté being his most famous. He was deemed a controversial character for his belief in Arianism (the questioning of the Holy Trinity). |
