This is volume 50 of the complete works of Voltaire, containing the section 'Convulsions' through 'Embleme' of his Dictionnaire Philosophique. Voltaire was a prolific writer of the French Enlightenment well known for his criticism of the flaws in organized religion and the French bourgeoisie.
